Calculate your score, then refer to the explanations below.

0 - 18  If you fall in this range, you're probably feeling depleted and more than ready for a change. Don't beat up on yourself- the majority of people fall into this, or the next, category. Your score may be the trigger you need to start taking steps toward a satisfying career. Begin by making a list of your favorite activities, then make an effort to include more of them in your life. Think of your life as a book with chapters. What is the theme of of the next chapter of your life?

19 - 28  You've probably been restless, ready for a change but unsure of what it should be. What challenged and excited you at one time may no longer beckon to you. Perhaps a minor refocusing is all that is needed, rather than a major transition. To help you focus, start by journaling twenty minutes a day. Instead of ignoring the litany of complaints in your head, put words to them.

29 - 38 You're on the right track! You're probably more satisfied in your career than most people- but don't stop there! Ask yourself questions like: If I had a gift of five years and unlimited resources, what would I do? How can I make a difference in the world? What is my most wonderful dream?

39 - 48 You're almost there! Realistically, it may be fine to accept this as a great place to be. Most of us can't sustain bliss as a constant anyway; we need to go through cycles of rest and consolidation. But stay vigilant to your dreams so that you can grow along with them

49 - 56 Nirvana! Congratulations and enjoy the view. If you've made it this far, you are among the blessed few.
